Terms Applicable to Affiliates
If you become an affiliate of Date Connected then the following terms apply to you.
Our Affiliate Network
You understand, acknowledge, and agree that the said company will only accept and payout for an affiliate sale or lead (new profile), if that user is from following country, United Kingdom, Ireland, United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa. You understand and agree that the said company will not payout any affiliate commissions if any sales are not from the above countries and may result in being redirected to a 3rd party.
How it Works
We provide our affiliates with a unique tracking URL. This URL must be placed within the coding of your website and when clicked on will direct visitors to your site to Rudefinder.com or one of our other website or brands. If the visitor to your site places an order in the following 365 days from the same computer (cookie tracking) or the same Internet connection (ip tracking), our automated system will track the sale and automatically credit your account.
In order for automated tracking to be successful the visitor must have clicked on your tracking URL, have cookies and JavaScript enabled in their browser, not clear cookies or switch Internet Service Providers before placing your order. If the automated tracking fails for any reason and you wish to earn commission for this referral you must contact Date Connected Affiliate Support at affiliates [at] date-support.com. When you contact us, please include the full name and e-mail address of the customer you referred plus your affiliate username so we may locate your account. The date and time of the order would also be helpful. Whether or not you are able to provide this specific information there is no guarantee we will be able to issue a credit to your account. We will investigate any missed commissions to the best of our ability but we reserve the right to decline any such request.
Affiliates are not required to complete a W8/W9 tax form but are reminded that it's the affiliates own responsibility to pay any/all taxes related to the commissions you earn under this Agreement.
Commissions
Commissions will be paid to affiliates based on successful referrals. A successful referral, or sale, is defined as: a non-fraudulent, active for a period of thirty (30) days, not cancelled dating client who has paid for services in full and has been referred to us through your affiliate tracking URL.
Affiliates are not permitted to provide refunds, credits or awards to their customers without written approval from an affiliate manager. This includes all forms of incentivised traffic / chat.
Because of the high frequency of credit card fraud and cancellation rates, we reserve the right to hold commissions for up to 60 days for verification should we deem necessary. We also reserve the right to cancel commissions in the event that we are unable to collect funds, the order is fraudulent (Fraudulent traffic includes bounced emails), the customer cancels within the first 30 days, or if we learn that the commission was earned improperly for any other reason. You will be notified by email in such an event.
There are two pay periods during every month. Pay periods are two weeks long. The first pay period is from the 1st of the month until the 15th. The second is from the 16th of the month to the last day of the month. Date Connected will process affiliate commissions for the past month period before this on these dates and issue payments. For example: On January 5th you earn $500 via the Date Connected Affiliate Program. The commission becomes mature 30 days after we track it, or in this case on February 5th. The next pay date is February 16th, so on February 16th you would be paid for these referrals. This time frame allows us to evaluate every order and assess its validity. In the event we are unable to verify the order during this time frame, we may, at our sole discretion, hold your commission or cancel the order. Cancelled commissions will not be reinstated.
Check payments will only be reissued within 120 days of original issue date in the case of a lost check or stop-payment request. After 120 days, the payment will be voided. Check cancellation fees may be applied.
It is your responsibility to keep your contact information up-to-date including your email, postal address and any other information that may impact Date Connected's ability to contact you or send your commission payment.
Date Connected is not responsible for any third-party fees charged by banks for wire transfers for the amount of $500 or less. The alternative method of payment is Cheque.
By promoting anyone of JDI Dating LTD's dating sites you agree and understand that affiliate commissions must hit a minimum of $200.00 before a payment will sent.
JDI Dating LTD reserve the right to terminate a referral account at any time if the leads/sales are thought to be fraudulent.
All affiliates must hit a minimum threshold of $200 prior to the balance being paid out.
Base Commissions
Commission rates are posted on date-connected.com and will be updated from time to time. If you have received a custom commission structure from us in exchange for a large number of referrals, then Date Connected may modify your account settings to reflect this. We consider custom commissions for any affiliate who is able to send five (5) or more new customers per day. Our various programs are managed by various affiliate managers, to contact your affiliate manager you should email affiliates [at] date-support.com
E-mails and Publicity
Affiliates shall not create, publish, transmit or distribute, under any circumstances, any bulk electronic mail messages (also known as "SPAM").
Trademarks
Affiliates shall not and are not authorized to (i) use the Date Connected trademark, name or any of our other intellectual in a domain or website name, in any bids for keywords or Google Adwords (or similar programs at other search engines), in any search engine advertising (paid or otherwise), in any metatags, key words, advertising, or search terms. This is also known as brand bidding, any sales that are believed to be generated in this way will be removed.
Affiliate Support Services
Date Connected will provide reasonable support services to affiliates. Certain affiliates who have demonstrated a high level of volume will be assigned dedicated account managers. In most cases, affiliate managers are assigned based on the brand which you are promoting.
Term of the Agreement
The term of this affiliate agreement will begin upon our acceptance of your affiliate program application, and will end when terminated by either involved party. Either party may terminate the affiliate relationship, with or without cause, by giving written notice of termination to the other. Notice of termination must be delivered to us by sending an e-mail to affiliates [at] date-support.com. Once terminated, you will not be eligible to receive commissions for any future referrals. If you register or renew a domain through us, you further agree to the terms of the applicable domain registration agreement of the domain registrar in question, the terms of which are incorporated herein by reference.

Affiliate's Representations and warranties
These agreements require affiliates to comply with the FTC's revised Endorsement Guides; Affiliate representation and warrants the following: Affiliate has the legal authority to enter into this Agreement and to be bound to the promises, covenants, and other duties set forth in this agreement.
Affiliate(s) websites and/or affiliate links do not contain any materials that are:
i) Offensive, profane, hateful, threatening, harmful, defamatory, libelous, harassing or discriminatory (whether based in race, ethnicity, creed, religion, gender sexual orientation or physical disability.
ii) Graphically violent, including any violent images, video and/or audio.
iii) Solicitous of any unlawful behavior.
You understand, acknowledge, and agree to:
i) Ensure that affiliate advertising of any merchant's products or services is truthful, substantiated, and not deceptive or unfair;
ii) Not publish fake news articles or other fake media titles, without clearly and conspicuously disclosing that the content is an advertisement;
iii) With respect to any endorsement (third-party promotion of advertiser's product to consumers), do not publish false or unsubstantiated endorsements, and be sure to clearly and conspicuously disclose any material connections with the merchant and/or the network;
iv) Not infringe on the personal rights, trademark, copyright, patent rights, service mark, or any other intellectual property right of any third party mentioned in published content.
v) Not publish fake blogs or other false content, false or unsubstantiated product claims, or offer incentives to consumers in return for their response to any ad, unless the offer's terms and conditions of the offer are clearly and conspicuously disclosed.
vi) Do not falsely advertise, Facebook, Google, Msn or any other entity, in order to gain traffic. For example; Facebook Of Sex.
These agreements should also require that affiliates clearly and conspicuously disclose the terms and conditions of any incentives, points, rewards, cash, or prizes promised to consumers in return for their response to any advertisement. You acknowledge that any affiliates who violate these laws, regulations and guides be terminated by the said company, and shall forfeit any commissions earned in the course of committing such violations.
FTC Endorsement Compliance
It is the intent of Date Connected to treat our customers fairly and to comply fully with all Federal Trade Commissions regulations related to advertising. As such, we require our affiliates to comply with these regulations. This includes, but is not limited to, Federal Trade Commission 16 CFR Part 255: Guides Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising, which requires, among other criteria, that material connections between advertisers and endorsers be disclosed. This means that directories, review/rating sites, blogs and other websites, email or collateral that purport to provide an endorsement or assessment of an advertiser (in this case Date Connected) must prominently disclose the fact financial or in-kind compensation is provided from the advertiser.
You are advised to seek and obtain your own legal advice on how these rules apply to your website or other promotional activities for which you receive compensation.
We reserve the right to withhold commission fees and cancel the affiliate relationship with you should we determine, at our discretion, that you are not in compliance with the previously mentioned guide or other FTC regulations/guides we deem relevant.
Indemnification
Affiliate shall indemnify Company and hold harmless Company from any claim, damage, lawsuit, action, complaint, or costs arising out of any breach of Affiliate's warranties set forth in ìAffiliates representations and warrantiesî. Affiliate shall also indemnify and hold harmless Company for any damages, loss or other cost arising out of the use or misuse by affiliate of the Promotional Materials.
When These Terms Take Effect
This agreement becomes effective once you open an affiliate account at date-connected.com. If you are an existing affiliate, and you do not agree with the terms herein, please cancel your account. Otherwise, if you sign up for or continue to use the affiliate program, you agree to what is written here. Please check back periodically as we reserve the right to change these terms at any time, and without notice. By using any of our services you agree to the above terms of service as in effect from time to time.
